anyone else trying to go self-employed and it triggering?
like i know employment support exists on paper but in practise it dosen't really.
i've had nothing but headaches trying to start self-employment and now it is retriggering my cptsd as a result (due to the processes of trying to get things done and it making it harder for me to actually think of my plan in detail).
I'm being told i have to start trading before i can open a business bank account, and i'm only allowed to have one business purpose on the account and i can't diversify.
and i'm also being told i should start trading on my personal account because i haven't started trading yet, but because of my disabilities i would find it really difficult to split the difference between personal and business, which I must have for my mental health.
so do i open another personal account? or do i try a business and do i lie to them about whether i've started trading / what i'm using the account for? all of these are questions i have but don't have an answer to. i feel like i'm going to have to lie again because being honest has done nothing but harm me in relation to services.
idon't really have help. i'm on the work and health programme which is good buty the local org i'm under via a referral from said WHP isn't really helping. like they didn't know about the existence of the HMRC Special Support Team until I told them and i'm sorry but if you don't know about the existance of basic stuff like that you shouldn't be working with disabled people.
i can't be out of work because i have to leave this country for my own wellbeing as a life trapped in this country is not a life worth living (especially because of the creeping threat of fascism and the fallout from mismanagement brexit / covid).
so what am i supposed to do?
