I've sent off for an MR. Should I still be receiving my usual payments? Will I have to repay them?
Hi there,
I was previously awarded standard daily living and enhanced mobility after tribunal. I had to start a new claim in October 2021 as the award was until Jan 2022.
I had my assessment in December 2021 and have been awarded standard daily living and zero mobility.
I have already sent a mandatory reconsideration latter which has been received.
I have received two payments for the standard daily living but thought that these would not continue during the MR? Unsure if they could say I lose the award and would have to pay this back? Cannot get through on the phone to confirm if I can use this money and wondered if this has happened to anyone else?

Any award you have will continue to be paid while you wait for the MR decision and Tribunal (if it gets this far) If the worst happens and you lose your existing award you will not have to repay it back.
