Not been out but sat at the door way there is a breeze but its just hot air like a hairdryer
Think it will be very late tea tonight when it cools down a bit
Roll on tomorrow bit cooler0 -
I finally had my garden done this morning, been waiting 2 years lol. Poor gardener this weather but he was here early and was finished by the time the sun came around the front.Went out in the car for my grandson's afternoon nap, it was lovely to sit with the AC on. Way too hot!1

Can't wait for the cooler air. Its nice to have the gardens done. Your right Jane it is a warm breeze0

28 degrees is more than warm enough! Don't know how some of you are managing - especially in the 30 degrees and 40 degrees

We had a bit of rain yesterday evening - i was looking forward to going out in it but it was drying up even before it hit the ground - doesn't feel any fresher to me yet x0
-
It's feeling a bit fresher today outside, but I'm struggling to get rid of the stuffy air inside my room!0
-
Same here @Tori_Scope its cooler outside but my house retains the heat so it actually feels as warm as yesterday even with windows open0
-
We have weather warnings for storms today, we need a good down pour, lots of fires because it's too dry, even the playing field by me caught fire. Not to mention the water supply getting low.0
-
I've managed to create a bit of a through-draught @janer1967, which has helped a little bit, but it's still very warm.
I hope no one was injured during the fire @Sandy_123!0 -
No I don't think anyone was hurt, looks a right mess tho now, instead of a green field it's all black. The tractor was cutting one side on fri but left the other half with long grass, which caught fire. Been a few fires in the heat we've had.0
-
Yep was waiting for the fires to start - the ground is that dry - just in time for the school summer holidays our local nature places/parks always close when there's a risk with grass fires.Could do with some nice steady rain, even the tree's have started dropping their leaves to protect the tree. I don't mind if it rains all night as long as summer comes back ha ha x0
-
Hope that's more of a relief after the start of this week @Teddybear12 I've got sun here, but it's a much better temperature today0
-
Glad it's much better @Teddybear12
