Are you a mum whose disabled child has moved out of the home? We'd like to hear from you!

At Scope, we understand that being the parent of a disabled child comes with a huge range of emotions. For Mothers’ Day, we want to learn from mums whose disabled children have moved to independent living or residential care.
Our social media team would love to hear how your life may have changed, and how the transition felt for you. Some specific things to consider:
- How did you feel when it happened?
- Was it harder for you than you thought it would be?
- How much did your life change, if at all?
- Did you have any support for yourself at the time?
- What would you want another mum going through the same thing to know?
They'd like to use some of your responses in some Scope social media posts to raise awareness of this topic.
If you were to post a response to this thread, the social media team may
use a quote from it. If you're happy for them to use your first name, please include it
in your comment
