Stopping Notifications

I am unable to cancel /stop notifications from being emailed to me
I have removed the ticks from all boxes with no luck 
Any ideas?

    This is a ongoing problem with the forum and has been reported on numerous occasions and is being looked into for a resolution 

    There is a workaround but that can be done by admin but it means removing your email from the account and you will get no notification 

    If this is what you want tag in Adrian scope in a message to community@scope.org.uk

    Sorry that you haven't been able to prevent the notifications. Just to clarify, you have unchecked those you no longer wish to receive in the notification preferences section and pressed to save your changes, but you are still receiving those notifications to your inbox?

    That is correct 
    I have unticked EVERYTHING and saved it but am still receiving notifications

    I get the opposite I don't get email notifications now I have problems on commenting on some threads and I have emailed to see when I come off moderation

    Hi are we any nearer to resolving this issue on notifications? I have ticked boxes and still getting notifications. I don't mind getting them, but not like 30 on 1 post within the hour. The only thing I can do is block scope emails all together until its resolved. Tryed everything else, used to be able to click off enabled feature on posts.

    I have reported all of Scope’s emails spam on my Gmail until this issue is fixed. I didn’t mind when I only got the odd one.

    Good idea, i dont mind but when it's 1 after the other on 1 thread. All I hear is ping ping ping. Don't want to silence my emails.

    I have unticked all my boxes that hasn't worked. I have tried to block the email address through hotmail that hasn't worked. I almost missed an important email yesterday as I had nearly 50 notifications in my email yesterday. How can I stop this please? thanks x

    Hello @Laura442 I'm sorry to hear about your issues with email notifications, it's an ongoing problem and we are working with the forum platform provider to try and resolve it. 

    I can look into unticking email notifications for you, are there any types of notifications you'd still like to receive, or shall I untick them all for you?

    Sorry to jump onto this thread @Alex_Scope I am having the same issue. I have unticked everything but still get numerous emails a day. Can you turn mine off please?

    My notification bell just cycles when I click on it!
