Hi and welcome to the community
The definition of a disability is a physical or mental health impairment that significantly affects your ability to carry out day to day tasks that lasts for 12 months or more
A diagnosis or condition doesn't mean you are deemed disabled as everyone is affected differently by their condition0 -
Hi @mistyreba - & welcome to the community. My understanding is that a disability is anything that literally dis-ables you, so a disorder that limits your ability to do certain acts of daily living for example. Severe pain is certainly disabling. May I ask if you're thinking about applying for a benefit such as the Personal Independence Payment (PIP)?

Most days are a struggle for me dealing with depression and anxiety and also having multiple exostoses. Pain is really bad. Wakens me up from my sleep .0

A warm welcome to the community from me too @mistyreba
I'm sorry to hear that things are quite difficult for you at the moment. You've mentioned having surgeries to help manage your condition- are you receiving any other support to help you get the pain under control? Is your doctor aware that it's affecting your sleep?
I'm also sorry to hear that you're experiencing depression and anxiety at the moment. Are you receiving any support to help you manage these conditions?0
