Good afternoon
I am filling out my review form and although been doing it for 20 yrs+ I am still in awe of it. I was born without my right arm so care element is pretty straightforward but in 2017 was diagnosed with a degenerative spine and osteoarthritis in both hips. In 2018 I was assessed for new condition but it was marked up as walking with a "slight gait". How do I emphasise it is more than that? Thanks in advance for any help 🙏

Hi @3538SK8SA welcome to the group.
I'm not an expert on these type of forms, hopefully one of our in the know members will pick up on our chat.
What i will say is i to have degenerative spine condition and osteo, when i filled my pip form in (first for me this year) it mention walking etc with or with out aids so i suppose if you have problems walking, which i do and have to use a stick, would this be like your new assessment. Sorry if its no help but as i say i am hopeing some of the others will see your post. I didn't want to ignore you.

Hi @3538SK8SA - as I'm sure you're aware, you should fill out your PIP review form with as much detail as your initial claim form. As the form is much shorter, just add extra pages at the end (ensuring you add your name & National Insurance number to each of these pages).
As far as your mobility goes, then only you can say how this affects you on the majority of days. However, if you have difficulty with mobilising 'reliably,' then this should be mentioned, i.e. say if you can't do this safely, to an acceptable standard, repeat as often as one would reasonably expect, or if it takes you much longer than someone without a disability. Hope this helps.
