Here's a bit of fun for the Easter break, a thread all about Easter traditions from around the world
This time of year has a lot of significance for those that celebrate it across the globe, so let's see what we can learn...
The aim of the game is to investigate the Easter traditions of different countries. One person shares a country's tradition, then names another country for the next person to find out about, and so on.
So for example I will start with Greece.
Greece: In Greece, Easter eggs only come in one colour, red. The colour red represents life, as well as a representation of the blood of Christ. From ancient times, the egg has been a symbol of the renewal of life, and the message of the red eggs is victory over death.

Bermudians celebrate Easter with colourful, spring-inspired events, foods and worship. Flying kites, eating hot cross buns and attending sunrise services are just a few ways you can join in the festivities.

I'll pick up again:
America: Simnel Cake - Especially in New England, the traditional British fruit cake with lots of marzipan is eaten at Easter. It's available at "tea time," but it usually lasts until dinner.
Sort of a borrowed tradition from the sound of it!
