Hi anyone that can give further advice please and/or their experience.
Many thanks0 -
I'm not sure what other advice you would like. Your assessment has been completed and the report has been returned to DWP. You've done all you can and now you need to wait for the decision, which can be anything from 2-12 weeks, sometimes longer.I know it's stressfull waiting but please try to think of something else, otherwise the time will go even longer.1

Sorry I was not being disrespectful to you as your response and advice was appreciate like I had said in my reply to you.
I was asking the community site in general if there was any further advice to be had and/or for their experiences of going through a PIP 1st claim with a paper based assessment.
I thought that was what this site was for to ask for and share helpful information collectively.
I will be sharing my 'PIP journey' when I receive my decision.0 -
Indeed it is but there's no other advice anyone can give you. I didn't say you were being disresepectful and i didn't think that at all.I've never heard of anyone of being refused after a paper based assessment.Hopefully, you'll have a decision soon and it will be the right one for you.1

Thank you for that. I do know i am just being over impatient and we have Good Friday tomorrow and then Easter Monday that will be non working days for DWP.
Yes hopefully I will hear soon and will certainly put my PIP journey on here so that it might gives others some helpful information.
I am happy it is a paper based assessment and feel my gp and consultant letters may have helped but would certainly ask for a face to face if needed to go for an MR.
Many thanks again

There’s no face to face assessments for the MR. For this a different decision maker looks at all the evidence again and makes another decision.1

Hi again
If you put in a mr you won't get an assessment that has already been done even if paper based
An mr is another decision maker looking through your claim again1 -

Ohhh right i understand now many thanks.
I was wrongly thought if I didn't get any award or given an award I felt was not correct for me I would ask for a face to face so they could see my limitations and debilitating conditions for themselves.
Its is so difficult when you later think ohh I really should have mentioned this or that as at the time didn't think would be of important.
I know I am being impatient and over thinking too much. I worry that because it was paper based they may not really be aware of how much care I need and mobility problems. I do know you have both said paper based usually lead to an award of some level though so fingers crossed.
As always your valuable advice is much appreciated.
