Pip tribunal hearing

Hello I’ve just got my tribunal hearing date through for the 3//05/2022.I suffer with severe anxiety panick attacks and flashbacks due to loosing my mother to suicide when I was 21.I witnessed this on her first attempt which has had a great impact on my mental health.Please could anyone give me a little advice it’s a telephone hearing.Thanks

I'm sorry to hear about what you have been through, that sounds horrific and I'm sure you will have the full support of everyone on here.
Have you ever received any emotional support following that incident for your mental health? For example, have you ever had a conversation with your GP about how it has impacted you?
For the tribunal, it might be worth having a think about the sorts of things you want to say and taking some notes. With your phone, ensure that it is fully charged so that isn't a concern for you during the call, and just do your best to utilise any coping techniques you have to enable you to stay as calm as possible.

Thankyou Ross.Yes I’ve had counselling it helped now I have to self refer for EMDR for the flashbacks.Thankyou for the advice I have made a lot of notes and I will try to keep calm and I will let you know the outcome.Thankyou very much .0

Thanks for getting back to this thread @Lena69, I'm glad that you had counselling and that it helped you, that's great.
I hope the EMDR therapy goes well for you, always remember to speak with your GP if you ever feel as though you need even more support.
