Hi I know there is a lot of information about Pip on this forum website but I’d like to ask for some advice and hear other peoples stories more recently for Pip 2022. I applied for PIP last year in October I had my assessment around 8 weeks ago , I had a text on 23/03/2022 explaining that they had received my report and would have a decision in 8 weeks time , I then received a letter On 13/04/2022 informing me that they now have all of the information needed to make a decision, I rang the pip helpline asking is there a difference between the letter and the text , they let me know that it is being dealt with the case managers and should have a decision within 4 weeks , any recent stories as well as advice will be very appreciated!

Hi,The letter you received telling you "they have all the evidence they need to make a decision" is just a totally pointless letter in my opinion. It doesn't mean anything at all. Even after this letter it can still take anything up to 12 weeks. When you ring PIP you're ringing a call centre and not DWP itself. I really have no idea how they know a decision will be made in 4 weeks. That's another way of them making things up as they go along. They really have no idea when that decision will be made.If successfully awarded and you're not transferring from DLA then money is usually received in your bank before the decision letter.0
