Does calling DWP for pip update affect the outcome

Hi, can i ask if calling DWP for an update on pip claim can affect the outcome of decision, i have called a few times and worrying even more now

No it doesn’t, not sure why you think it would. When ringing PIP you’re ringing a call centre, not DWP itself.
However, I know how much anxiety waiting causes but ringing them all the time doesn’t help you. It’s not going to make the decision come any quicker.
Try to think of something else, while you wait because a decision could take anything up to 12 weeks, sometimes longer.1 -

Have you been assessed and waiting for a decision? if so it can take between 2-12 weeks.0 -
