Hi

I just wanted to share with you the positive experience we have had so far booking a holiday with On the Beach

There was quite a few disabled accessible hotels to pick from

When we booked online it asked if there were any special needs requirements eg accessible room , airport and in flight assistance

The next day we had a call to ask more details about our requirements so they could contact the airline and hotel to make sure they could meet our needs

Very impressed so far obviously we haven't been yet but I was impressed with service so far

The hotel we selected even hires out wheelchair or power chairs or mobility scooter

I know how hard it can be to find accessible holidays and it wasn't a company I had even thought of using with them not being a specialist disabled company

It definitely sounds like you're being supported by On The Beach, where are you off to on holiday? :)

We are going to benidorm for Christmas

Main reason we picked there was I've not been abroad since becoming disabled and its recognised as the most accessible resort in Spain . It also stays open all year so maybe we can get a good old turkey dinner on Christmas day

I too always use On The Beach for European bookings, as do my family. I find the website simple and informative and recently one of my family members flights got cancelled so they refunded the whole holiday within 3 days. I’d personally rather pay a little more just to use them with how many times they’ve been good for me.

Just booked a holiday with them for the 12th-20th June. Brilliant! Got a booking confirmation within 5 minutes (I got a pending email prior to this). Just hope Manchester Airport has calmed down by then but I’ve booked FastTrack anyway so that should see me through a little quicker.

Me too, I’m off to Tenerife. Was going to book for a day later on the Monday but travelling Sunday knocked £50 off. Going with a close friend of mine who is having an operation 2 weeks later so it’s his last chance to get away for at least a year the GP said.
