Hello @lou1921
Lovely to hear from you
As you say, times can vary quite a bit from just a few weeks to many many months, but hopefully you'll be one of the quicker ones and get a positive outcome
If you'd like you can ring up to request a copy of the report, however do note that whatever the assessor puts in the report may not necessarily be the final decision. We've seen plenty of members receive the report and end up feeling more anxious and stressed about the whole process so it's worth considering those factors too.
How did you find your assessment?0 -
Your whole timescale has been exceptionally quick compared to a lot of members here. Some are still waiting several months after first claiming.Decision timescales are 2-12 weeks, sometimes longer.0

hello yes I don’t think I will be requesting a copy of my report as my nerves are on end as it is !My actual assessment was actually fine it seemed to have gone well she was lovely the lady put me at ease straight away.At the end of the phone call I was in tears and I was so so overwhelmed she was really nice.At the end of the phone call she also said to me that she was going to recommend ‘maximum points’ which I was shocked to hear her say something like that and it had actually made me feel more on edge about my decision now !0 -

i know that’s what I thought. It wasn’t the best thing to say to someone who is already suffering with anxiety ect..
As I know that’s not there decision is it ?
I have tried to forget about what she has said.Just hope I hear some news sometime soon0 -
The only person that can make a decision and award you points is a decision maker from DWP.0

Hope you are OK now ,My mom suffering from dementia and also very worried about the desicion. We received the letter with the desicion very quickly about 1 week .
But looks like she have enough points 16 and 17 mobility .But the text was completely opposite.
So have made a few calls and they just keep repeating that it was a mistake. So we still waiting now .
She cannot text here ,but she want to support you !1 -
