HI,What advice would you like? I'm sure someone can advise if you give some more information.0

Hi Poppy, I applied for PIP on the 8th March received a text with a link to upload my 'How Your Disability Affects You Form' I am claiming PIP for BPD, And ADHD both which I've been diagnosed with also depression and anxiety I sent I'd say close to 50 pages of evidence off also from the last 15 or so years showing hospital admissions and suicide attempts and medication I was taking. ADHD specialist appointments and MH team advice that admissions to hospital would help me.
I currently take no medication or see any services due to severe anxiety and my records show this has been ongoing throughout my life which means I barely leave the house,
Anyhow my partner rang PIP and they said I was having a paper based assessment which on the 5th May was returned to the DWP I have asked for a copy of my assessment report and I'm extremely anxious just looking for any insight or advice, Thank you0 -
@Teddybear12 thank you very much I will be sure to check everything out0

Your whole process has been exceptionally quick. I’ve not heard of anyone being refused with a paper based assessment.Decision timescales are anything up to 12 weeks. Nothing more you can do but wait.0

@poppy123456 I am extremely lucky with how quick its been so far, and I thought as much thank you for your input hopefully the assessment report can give me some indication what award I'll receive I've previously applied and been refused I suspect that was due to the lack of medical evidence this time round I've been quite lucky as it only took a matter of days for my GP to ring back with my records0

Just thought I'd give whoever read the above comments an update, I received an assessment report for my paper based assessment if i've added points and descriptors correctly I scored 12 points for both parts a decision has now been made and I'm awaiting to see what award I receive although I've read the DWP usually go off the assessors report just under 10 weeks in total so luckily in my case I have no horror stories to tell1

Only 2 people personally, myself and my daughter. Other than that several people, potentially more. However, you can't really compare others to yourself.
