Hello
Sorry to ask again for help, really struggling to cope or even type.
Couldn't even manage shower or tie up hair.
Silently crying,feel trapped in flat.
Agonising pain. Ive stayed hydrated and nourished as i can, taken painkillers used a muscle rub gel all unhelpful
I am feeling sick.
My new bout of extreme upper right pain (head neck back shoulder arm) has got worse, it's hurting too much.its not allowing me to do any tasks
Ive been up since 04:30
Getting up out of bed was itself a struggle but the smallest movements are exacerbating pain.
Gp on monday afternoon didnt give any help. I cant go into 111/a&e as hospital is far away ive got no one to give me a lift, oh my god this hurts so much
Please help me.

Morning @ResilientNeighbour7 good to hear from you but sad to hear you are in so much pain.
You seem to be doing all the right things, have you tried a nice soak in the bath or have a shower and let the water hit your painful parts ?
I know pain is not nice but it can sometimes last a while before it eases, try and relax with it.0 -
I called 111 but they messed me about. The 2nd handler listened & after whittling down to just one of my symptoms decided to call ambulance which I was ready to go in because pain is that bad.
But then someone from out of hours called and said there is no need to call ambulance and I'd be wasting their time and resources! He said make your own way to urgent care if it's that bad or find someone to give you a lift. I explained I've not left flat in days, called gp & struggling to walk and don't have anyone to give me a lift but he just hummed and ignored.
So looks like I'll be stuck suffering in silence for the foreseeable because I cannot walk to station and get buses.
I also have no money at moment

Morning @ResilientNeighbour7
Thanks for posting, ands orry to hear that you aren't feeling well.
If you continue to feel worried about your condition, or if you start feeling worse, I would encourage you to get back in touch with your GP or the 111 service again. Even though they weren't able to help you this week, they are places you should continue to access if you aren't feeling well.
Do you know anybody who could lend you the money to catch a taxi?0 -
Hi
As mentioned I have nobody. Sorry l am just not coping. Very tired also

There's no need to apologise, that's absolutely fine, I'm sorry that you aren't coping too well. Were 111 able to provide some advice as to how you could treat yourself at home?
Just to reiterate, if you do continue to feel worried about your condition you should get back in touch with 111, or 999 if you beleive it to be an emergency, to get some medical advice.0 -
Hello
As I cannot bear the pain & weakness, have had ambulance arranged again two hours ago, still waiting.
Hoping I will actually be seen to,taken seriously treated.
Very anxious. For e.g them seeing the state of flat, nasty neighbours, & how will I get back.
Wish I didn't have to live like this. Extremely unproductive, getting nowhere, literally sat rotting.
Anyway I will wait patiently hope they are respectful considering it's not a typical 'emergency'.
Thank you.0 -
I hope that they arrive soon @ResilientNeighbour7. They should be respectful of you, and I hope that they understand what's caused you to call.
I'm sure they won't mind about the state of your flat, as I imagine they've seen it all!
In terms of travelling back, I'm wondering whether the following pages might be helpful: How to organise transport to and from hospital (NHS).
I also found a page for a specific area's Healthwatch share some information on this, so you could contact your local Healthwatch to see if they're able to offer advice or support.
On another page I read, it said that you can also speak to the hospital staff about transport once you've been discharged.
Please do keep us updated0
