Hi all hope your doing well! Does anybody have any experience with how long it takes to get a response from a mandatory reconsideration? 5 weeks and counting! I was deemed to have lcw but have appealed this! They don't like doing anything quickly do they lol 7 months for an assessment 3 weeks for a decision and now 5 weeks and counting for them to look at it again.. Interestingly my PIP assessment which is in a few weeks didn't take long at all. I thought it would be longer.. Anyway sorry for going on Thanks for your help 😊

MR decisions can take anything up to 12 weeks, sometimes longer.

Hey just an update!! A decision maker called me out of the blue this afternoon to dicuss the mandotory consideration about lcw/lcwra the phonecall lasted around 20 mins and went well.. to my surprise I have just received a message in my journal from said decision maker who has changed the original decision from lcw to lcwra :) I can't even tell you how incredibly happy and relieved I am I and how incredibly lucky I feel .. It's been such a blessing getting answers and info on this website I want to thank you all who replied with suggestions and have encouragement ♥️ I would also like to say to anyone else who feels they have received the wrong decision please keep going and stick at it I know its a long tiring and stressful process but you can get the decision changed! Thank you all again and take care all
