Poem called How It Started
Poem called How It Started
How it started between a young man Jason and a young woman called Grace.
Jason chased a young man who had stolen Grace’s handbag and was able get her handbag back for her.
Grace thanked the young man by offering to buy him a drink.
Jason and Grace met in a local coffee shop.
She loved his funny sense of humour which made her laugh.
She paid for the first cup of coffee that they both enjoyed.
Then Jason brought Grace a cup of coffee because he wanted to return the kind gesture.
Grace and Jason exchanged mobile numbers with each other.
They both left the coffee shop together and said bye to each other before going in different directions.
But their friendship grew into something special as the months began to pass
Jason took Grace to a beautiful restaurant where they had a wonderful meal together.
He commented to Grace on her beautiful purple dress and the silver earrings she wore.
Grace commented on how handsome he looked in his black shirt and trousers.
They both thanked each other for their compliments.
He gave her some yellow roses which symbolised how glorious their friendship had become.
She had tears running down her face because of the sweet thing the guy had done.
Jason got up and paid for the meal before pulling her chair back for her.
She thanked him before putting her black sweater on and taking her flowers off the table.
They both thanked the restaurant staff before making their way out of the restaurant.
Grace and Jason got talking once outside and found they were neighbours as both lived on the same street and their houses were next to each other.
They said hi to each other and wished each other a good day.
Now look how things have changed between Jason and Grace.
He walked her to her front door and she gave Jason a kiss on the cheek under the beautiful night sky and she thanked him for a wonderful evening.
This was before Grace and Jason went into their homes and closed their front doors.
A few months had passed by and Grace sent Jason a text saying they should meet at their local park because she needed to tell him something important.
Jason’s heart skipped a beat as he was getting ready to meet Grace at their local on a delightfully warm summer morning on Saturday.
Jason was wearing a whitey t-shirt and shorts and white trainers and sat on the park bench waiting for Grace to arrive.
Now out of the corner of his eyes, he saw Grace walking towards him in a lovely white flowery dress and black flip flops on her feet.
Grace took a seat next to Jason on the park bench.
Grace began by saying what a kind man Jason was.
She told how she had developed romantic feelings for him
Jason told her felt the same about her
They both concurred they take their friendship to next level and became boyfriend a girlfriend. This how it started for Grace and Jason
As months turned into years and their love for each developed into something unique that they had never felt before.
Jason proposed to Grace as they were at Brighton Pier.
She had no idea that Jason was going pop the question of marriage to her.
He was on one knee and held a red box in his hand and a gorgeous blue diamond glinted into her stunning sweet eyes.
He asked if would be his wife
Grace answered yes, she would be his wife.
After a few months of being engaged, they had saved enough money for a small wedding ceremony for both families.
Grace was wearing a glamorous Cerise Pink gold and diamonds were incorporated in the wedding dress and a black coloured gold choker on her neck. Her elegant brown coloured hair dangled with curls.
Jason was wearing a grey coloured waistcoat and grey trousers and black shiny shoes and his dad was his best man with a grey coloured waistcoat and trousers and black shiny shoes like Bruno Mars The Way You Are. Grace chose the music as she walked down the wedding aisle.
She walked so gracefully down and stood next to him in front of the altar with Jason as they held each other’s hands
Once the music had come to an end the registrar started exchanging the rings and vows with Grace and Jason.
Once that was completed the registrar pronounced them to be man and wife.
Everyone was clapping there as he shared a sweet kiss with his wife.
They walked back down the aisle and stood on the steps of the small church as there was a photographer waiting to take the beautiful wedding pictures of the happy couple and both family members.
The couple also let off white doves into the blue clear sky.
The couple lived happily ever after.
Jason and Grace had a beautiful little girl called Rebecca who was the apple of both her parent's eyes.
