PIP and Public transport and psychological distress

Hi all,
I wonder if someone can advise or help reassure me please?
I was awarded 10 points under the mobility category for psychological distress, despite telling the assessor that I have used public transport at times accompanied.
I now fear going out and using public transport even if accompanied, as the descriptor says can not do any journey! My mental health fluctuates. There are times when I can not go out at all, and times when I do, though can be very challenging. I usually have someone with me and rarely go out alone.
I have found the whole PIP process to be very stressful, despite being awarded finally after a long battle, I am left feeling even more anxious and like a prisoner.
Thanks
ME

The applicable descriptor is the what happens on the majority of days - it doesn't mean you can never do something.0

Scoring points for 1E doesn't mean you can't go out if you feel you can go so you shouldn't feel like a prisoner in your own home.
