Hi Everyone
I’m nee on here, I wanted to know if it is possible for my claim to be reassessed without a face to face consultation?..
I sent my form back in April 2022 and waiting a response.
I first got awarded in 2020 and was only receiving the enhanced lower living rate.
I was not happy with the award and did ask for a mandatory reconsideration, they awarded me a further 2 points but didn’t change anything with the rates. During the MR they mentioned that my Dyslexia and learning difficulties is not causing that much of an issue, as I was able to study as Student Midwife at university. At uni I was getting DSA and taxi to get to uni and placement, due to being unable to get to use public transport. I also had a support worker who helped and I also had other special requirements that were in place.
I didn’t continue and dropped out at the end of First year, due to how physically and mentally demanding it was.
As I was not in a good place mentally and didn’t have the energy to go through the tribunal at that time, so just left it.

My initial claim was due to sciatica, prolapsed discs in my back which was affecting my mobility, asthma, dyslexia. There were other conditions which I didn’t disclose at the time, as I was embarrassed to disclose.

My health has deteriorated since and This time I mentioned all the other conditions that affect me on a daily basis such as Anemia, IBS, Vag Prolape which has caused me to be incontinent, Dyspraxia, ADHD, Depression, Social anxiety and PTSD.

What are the chances of my claim being reassessed without needing to go for a face to face appointment?.. As I have been getting very anxious and it’s stressing me out.
If anyone can address my this it would be great!
apologies for such a long post but it’s better I explained everything!..😁

    The majority of people have assessments, which can be either by telephone, face to face or video call. Paper based assessments are rare but they do happen.
    If an assessment is needed once an appointment becomes available you will be contacted.

    you will normally be asked to re-apply before it ends,

    OP says they returned the forms.

    @woodbine
    hi, thank you for replying.
    My claim end in April 2023.
    Yes all my conditions do affect me on a daily basis, since last year my symptoms and conditions have left me in such a bad way, physically, mentally and emotionally☹️ I’m usually self independent but now have to get support from my husband and kids.
