Eww, burnt meatI like meat but I don’t like the smell of the fumes at barbecues, so I don’t go to them.0

Yes I’m a caveman/womanI love barbecues. In my younger and inexperienced days, barbecues = burnt everything. Now I use a kettle BBQ and the food I cook is tasty, moist and tender (even if I do say so myself
)Barbecues aren`t all about meat though; I like to wrap baby potatoes, garlic, lemon, olive oil and some curry powder in tin foil and cook them on the BBQ.I haven`t done it for many years now, but I used to cook strawberries & bananas with a dash or galliano in a frying pan. That was a nice, light end to a BBQ.1 -

Yes I’m a caveman/womanBarbecued fish is nice indeed
Has anyone ever tried barbecuing a banana? You have to cook it in its skin then open it afterwards. They tend to go mushy so you need to eat them with a spoon but they taste really nice.0 -
Yes I’m a caveman/woman@Biblioklept thanks, yes it went quite well, we are having another today.

The banana is nice indeed, you can put a bit of maple syrup on it and it makes it even sweeter
