Hey new to pip applied in January and been accepted this month, no letter yet but got paid 288 into my account, been told it gets backdated from when you applied so 288 seems a tad low for 5 months of backdated pay, I’m guessing 288 is my monthly amount and backdated comes later.. well I hope so anyway, anyone know more about this? Thank you

Yeh definitely PIP check bank online says DWP PIP, need the letter to understand what’s going just though someone may know, thanks0

We can only guess why the payment was so low. Though when claiming PIP, part of the criteria is you need to have had the conditions for at least 3 months. Even if this did apply here, the amount you received seems low.
