University funding and benefits

I have started a counselling course which I would like to continue to Diploma level but realistically I may never be able to work very much. I currently receive Housing Benefit, income related ESA and PIP and would need help with funding but I cannot jeopardise my benefits so wondered what my options, if any, would be? Thank you

Thank you both for your help. I have had counselling on a few occasions and realised it would be a good way to understand myself and especially my mental health better.1

If there's a student maintenance loan available to you this can affect means tested benefits such as Income Related ESA and housing benefit, regardless of whether you take that loan or not. There may also be extra funding available to you such as disabiled students allowance, which doesn't affect your means tested benefits. There's some useful information here but you'll need to scroll half ways down to see the part about Income Related ESA and housing benefit. https://www.disabilityrightsuk.org/how-we-can-help/individuals/education/frequently-asked-questions-studentsIf you haven't already then you'll need to make sure you report the changes to ESA and housing benefit.
