I live in Barnet. Don’t qualify for CT payment because I am in CT Band E. These discretionary funds have been much vaunted by the govt, but I know nothing about how Barnet will operate such a scheme.
This is important because funds have been allocated to be disbursed by a set time period, and I’m worried I have missed the boat.
Can anyone help, first of all, by indicating how many discretionary schemes there are?
Ive heard of discretionary energy rebate scheme. Then Household Support Scheme.
Maybe there are more schemes, just to befuddle all and sundry!

You will need to look at the Council web site for information on how the funds are being used and how to apply for help.

I have, actually!See this link, which is of no help at all, unless this scheme only relates to families with children.

The fund will support households who would struggle to meet food and energy bills without support. So it's not just for families with children.I'm not aware of any other schemes like this. Do you qualify for any of the cost of living payments? see link. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/cost-of-living-payment
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
