I got a text 4 hours after assessment to say they've received my report. Is this a good or bad sign?

Hi,
I had my telephone assessment with pip this morning and Had a text 4 hours later saying they’ve received me report. Is it a good or bad sign to be that quick?

Hello @brunnete101 and thanks for reaching out with your query.
The text is a pretty standard part of the application process, some people don't receive one, but this is quite rare. Getting the text is nothing to worry about, it's just confirmation that you've now moved onto the next stage of your application.

@Alex_Scope ok Thankyou . Yeah I think it went well, I’m just stressed now as I have seen some people have had a decision within 5 days and some are waiting 12+ weeks so it’s a bit nerve wracking .

Yes, I'm afraid it is a bit of a waiting game, and more likely to be on the longer side of the scale. I hope you get the outcome you're after, and do ask if anything comes up in the meantime.
It's positive to hear that it went well for you, you've done the hardest part
It's hard waiting to hear, I remember how nervous it made me feel, but it the end it's often better to try and focus on other things, and put this to the back of your mind for now. It helps to chat to friends/family about how you're feeling too.

It sounds like there is wide variation in the waiting times @brunnete101. Does anything help you when you are feeling stressed and nervous?
Wishing you the best of luck with this. Please feel free to let us know how you get on and if we can do anything to help in the meantimeCommunity Volunteer Adviser with professional knowledge of education, special educational needs and disabilities and EHCP's. Pronouns: She/her.
