Hello @1977young and happy birthday for Saturday! :)

Is there anything you're unsure of that you'd like help with?

Not to worry @1977young that's understandable, if anything does come up that you haven't prepared for, I don't think there's anything wrong with taking a break if you need to, or asking them to explain things again. Will you have anyone with you to support you today?

Has your condition got worse since the assessment took place, if so did you mention this to them, or was there evidence that may have suggested this? This is the only reason that i can think of for them to advise you to start a new claim.

Thanks. When you receive the forms you should give a couple of real world incidents of exactly what happened the last time you attempted that activity for each descriptor that applies to you. Include detailed information such as where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were.
Do you currently have an award in place?

Because you are making a new application you will create a 'closed period' for the tribunal outcome.
When your new application is decided the decision will apply from the date of your new claim. Any decision the tribunal make about your previous claim will only apply from the date of that original claim up to the date of your new claim.

I assume not because if there was an award in place they would not be able to make a new claim.
