I note that for those people who were given a 10 year PIP award are said to get a 'Light Touch' review.
Given that these reviews will start next year has anybody heard as to what a 'Light Touch' will consist of?

No one knows what that involves because no one has actually reached that point yet. I'm sure light touch reviews weren't introduced as soon as PIP came out, which was April 2013. There's some information here https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/news/dwp-begins-moving-existing-pip-claimants-to-10-year-light-touch-reviews

    Not to my knowledge.

Like some having a review 10 years down the line could well cause problems with the submission of the review form. As an example I don't have a copy of the PIP claim form that I completed at the time, the DWP award letter stating how many points I gained and under what categories they were awarded.

The implication of 'light touch' is that claimants will not be expected to complete full detailed forms - but we don't know.

The only thing i can quickly find is this
    https://www.gov.uk/guidance/the-personal-independence-payment-pip-toolkit
Ongoing awards with a ‘light touch’ review
This is for claimants who have:
    • very stable needs which are unlikely to change over time
    • high level needs which will either stay the same or get worse
    • a planned award review date due on or at State Pension age
These claimants would not usually be expected to have a face-to-face assessment at review.

Thanks. Based on that information presumably there will be a further category of claimants that don't fit those situations yet have a 10 year award.
The Government is leaving it a bit late with only 5 months to go before this type of award becomes due for review.

Would be great if these awardees can be given some idea where they stand.

That would be a novel approach.
