I have numerous mental health conditions, suffer with cluster headaches and I have a neurological condition.
I have consistently said I don't go out on my own for anxiety reasons. Only rarely with my sister or a trusted friend. I get triggers etc
I was on the enhanced level of pip but when I was diagnosed early this year ti was advised to go for mobility. I literally spend days in bed as I can't walk.
I was turned down and my pip reduced but was awarded lowest mobility rate. I was advised to take it to tribunal. They asked for the past 4 years of my medical records which I supplied along with a Dr's letter explaining in depth my conditions.
I had my phone tribunal and it was so horrible. I felt like I was on trial. My sister wasn't allowed to speak on my behalf.. even though she's maned on all the paperwork. They questioned me on two things. A holiday I had in 2020 with my family. I told them I felt safe and comfortable because I was with

Hello there @ladylulu and welcome to the community
It looks like there's more you want to add to your post, what would you like help with?
Don't worry about all the other posts, sometimes technology goes a bit funny, I've removed them so this one is easier to find.1 -
I’m assuming you haven’t yet had the decision from the Tribunal today. I wouldn’t worry too much about that because they don’t always make a decision on the day of the hearing. It doesn’t mean anything other than they didn’t make the decision. You should receive the decision letter in the post within the next week.0

Lots of people think their Tribunal didn’t go well and are surprised when they have the decision. It’s perfectly normal for the panel not to allow someone to speak on your behalf unless it’s your appointee. The only person that really knows how your conditions affect you, is yourself and they usually want you to tell them in your own words.
All you can do now is wait for the decision.1 -
My sister was my appointee and when I got distressed (she's my carer( they wouldn't let her talk. How can 400 pages of medical records and letters from my specialists be ignored. They literally picked on two or 3 incidents.0

No, they said thank you and I apologised for getting so upset/frustrated and defensive. I was told i would get a letter in the next couple of days. There wasn't a member of the DWP in the tribunal is that a good or bad sign? Do you know? Thank you0

A DWP representative doesn’t always attend a Tribunal hearing. It doesn’t mean anything other than this.1

I've done a bit of merging and editing on this thread so that all the information is in one discussion, I hope that's okay.
