I don't have a garden at the moment, but I have fond memories of going into the garden as a child when the weather was warm.

ReadingIf eating/drinking is not an option, I’ll go for reading as I used to read outside as a child.
-
OtherI just like sitting in the shade with a cool breeze...
-
I like reading outside @66Mustang, and did as a child too. Eating and drinking is a good one What's your favourite drink when the weather's hot?
-
Me too @OverlyAnxious- especially if I've already spent some time sitting in the sun!
-
Reading@Tori_Scope probably fruit juice or milk or a cold beer
-
I have to say that I usually crave a cold beer as soon as the sun comes out @66Mustang! Fruit juice is another good one, as well as smoothies.

SunbathingLove eating out side in hot weathers, especially with family.
-
Are you reading anything at the moment @Alex_Scope?
-
That sounds lovely @pinklady25. I wish I had a pool! Do you like to swim?
-
Me too @sandy_123. Though I don't love it when bugs and wasps try to get at my food, or when the wind picks up and the napkins go flying
-
Paddling pool@Tori_Scope my pool was on sale 50.00 it's a rigid pool have to put it together then put the plastic in and chlorine and there is a cover lits lovely in this weather and I love floating on the blow up sun bed it's relaxing it takes up most of the garden but it's fab
I love swimming and I like swimming in the sea if its a nice day it's very hot here today -
ReadingI am reading quite an interesting book @Tori_Scope thanks for asking, it's called "The Leviathan" by Rosie Andrews. I think it's her first fictional novel.
It's set in 1643 in Norfolk and is about suspected witchcraft. There's definitely some supernatural elements, and it's not scary to read, just quite atmospheric and creepy. I'm enjoying it so far, and the cover is very eye catchingOnline Community Coordinator

SunbathingHaha @Tori_Scope, yeah those are the disadvantages of eating out side.
-
OtherWhen I was younger I have such fond memories of playing in the garden particularly playing cricket with my dad. I was useless as I have terrible hand eye coordination and just generally bad at that sort of thing, but I loved spending time with my dad so much. Now I just like to chill out there, a book, a nice drink, music. Bliss.

Cricket's a good one @Biblioklept! We used to have a plastic set, and then a wooden one when my brother got into it for a while. Sport can be a lovely way for the family to spend time together
I like to chill out more these days too. -
My dissertation deadline is next weekend and then I will also be chilling out more these days (guilt-free too!)Community Volunteer Adviser with professional knowledge of education, special educational needs and disabilities and EHCP's. Pronouns: She/her.
