Attendance Allowance
Good Morning,
My mum has just been awarded attendance allowance but they have now asked her for more information and said they will stop her claim if she does not comply within 30 days.
My sister cares for my mother but does not live with her.
I live with my mother and they are asking for my proof of income since I moved into her property 20 years ago and two forms of ID and the exact date I moved in. I am on ESA with a long term Illness, I have no way of proving my income for last 20 years. How can my income affect her attendance allowance?
My son also lived with her for a while but he moved out two years ago, now they are asking for the date he moved and for his forwarding address, why?
I don’t understand how my income can affect my mothers attendance allowance?
Thanks in advance
Lee

Anyone that lives with her has no bearing on her Attendance Allowance. Is she able to ring them and ask why they are asking for this information? Are you sure it's from AA?0
