Well 2 years later I finally got assesment and award. I just received a letter in my journal stating so yesterday but nothing about when to expect it to start being paid or amount etc. My health change is down from Match 1st 2021 I am paid the 2nd of every month.
Also had an issues as I was originally claiming since spring 2020 but job coach advised me to change dates after couple month gaps in fit notes, I just followed his advice at time as I have learning difficulties and don't always understand things correctly, but now I wish I hadn't and just contacted doc for back dated sicklines. I wondered if anyone thinks it would be worth time doing mandatory reconsideration and getting old sick notes from doc to cover the period I wasn't handing them in, if it's gonna be a lot of stress and my current award will now be put on hold if rather not but I'm kind of mad it's a years money I could have got if my health hadn't been so bad at the time I couldn't even contact docs and I have got into debt since then that the payment would really help with.
Thank you for your time

Hmm strange, i thought i commented on this earlier...The gaps in your fit note will likely go against you here because the rules are you're supposed to send fit notes without any gaps until a decisions made on your claim. As you didn't do this then it's unlikely they will backdate your claim any earlier but it will be down to a decision maker to make the final decision. Backdating a fit note doesn't help. The extra money isn't paid at all during the 3 month waiting period, it's then paid from the 4th month.Your waiting period will be March/April, April/May, May/June.. LCWRA starts from assessment period 28th June to 27th July 2021 and first payment will be August 2nd 2021.

@poppy123456 hi thank you for reply, u probably did the discussion just disappeared for some reason. I thought that, I just got a message to say I'm due 5000 and it just says it will be paid into my bank, do u have any idea on a timescale for this, I was just on hold trying to get through to them for an hour and it randomly cut off so back on hold again0

£5,000 backpay is more than 11 months of LCWRA. Once the money is paid it takes 3-5 working days to go into your bank.

@poppy123456 thank u, yes I thought that myself they said it has been awarded since February the 26th till 25th. They've just confirmed on the phone it is correct and has been issued but I have asked for recalculation just incase as I don't want a shock letter saying I have to repay x amount. Thank you again for taking the time to reply to me it's appreciated, hope u have a lovely weekend0

Seems like they awarded it from an earlier date.
