My hubby has depression, and is struggling again

Hi all on this hot day
Some advice please my hubby has depression and has had it since 1986 off and on.He is struggling again minds matter can't do anything for him he's past any help from them.
Crisis can't help him either now.and has been referred back to our doctor who has tried to get him to see a pyshio therapist but they only see in patients so the doc said he has exhausted all avenues now I just wonder can anyone give me some advice I am really struggling coping with him at the moment I just feel let down that no.one can help him.thank you in advance x

That sounds really tough for you both @leonas.Crisis can't help him either nowHave the crisis team said why they can't help him? Are they willing to refer him to any other services?has been referred back to our doctor who has tried to get him to see a pyshio therapist but they only see in patientsAre you referring to a psychiatrist here? It's usually possible to get an appointment with a psychiatrist if you're referred, even if you're not an inpatient, though waiting times can be long. It might be a case of capacity, but it could be worth asking whether he could get on a waiting list.
Could he get any ongoing support from a community mental health team?
You could also try looking on the Hub of Hope to see if there are any sources of support he could access from local charities and other organisations.
I'm sure this must be difficult for you to handle, too, so make sure you look after yourself if you can.
