I was just reading about doing online surveys to make extra money or gift vouchers etc and was wondering what everyone thought about them. As they gather so much personal info I thought it wise to ask first.
I dont mean the scope surveys.
Have you had any experience with this subject?

Yes, I've read that they don't always use your data responsibly @leeCal. I imagine there are some decent ones out there, though. I've also done YouGov surveys in the past1

I’ve decided not to do any @Biblioklept, better that way.0

I did try doing surveys but I started to loose concentration fast... I do use Storewards which is an app which you scan your receipts and get coins and you can redeem for Amazon and PayPal vouchers, it takes seconds and you don't need that many to redeem a voucher. I have earned £50 so far since August last year and I'm close to £60, it's not much but it's a nice little bonus when I earn £10 PayPal vouchers which I can withdraw in my bank account. I was lucky to sign up to that because they have paused new sign-ups for now. Other apps I use are Shopmium which gives me free products from supermarkets (I buy and they refund me usually a day later) and they are usually very decent items. I also use Airtime Rewards which gives me money back on certain purchases I make and I can use that money to pay my mobile phone bill. I have other apps too such as TopCashback, Quidco and o2 Priority as well as supermarket memberships but I'd be here all day explaining my large array of platforms
I definitely recommend all of these apps and websites because you can earn without actually doing anything as well as the surveys mentioned!0 -
I don`t do surveys; I don`t have the patience to sit there doing something that is inevitably boring (from when I tried doing surveys) for very little reward.
