Good Afternoon
I'm looking for some advice after being awarded LCWRA. I started getting UC at the start of the year and now finally got LCWRA and a letter with a back payment. I've noticed a previous payment on my UC account was changed to show that I recieved a LCWRA payment at the start of this month with my usual UC payament which I did not.
I had only recieved my usual UC payment on this date.
Now, my assessment period for my 1st claim was:
27 January to 26 February 2022. I got my 1st payment on the 5th March. I've also been supplying sick notes to my journal as requested and they are dated from 17th Jan. I was told I was getting award LCWRA on the 5th July and today recieved a letter outlining the money owed to me. I'm not so sure the money owed is correct and was wondering if there is any way of checking this out?
Also, after getting this message today I noticed my statement payment that i received on the 5th of June had changed on my statement payments. I received £334.91into my bank on the 5th and not what my statement has now been changed to this morning (£689.19)
I'm looking for some advice to all this. I'd also like to work out if my backdated payment I've been told i'll receive later this week is correct.
Any help is much appreciated!

There's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time from the date you reported your health condition. It's then paid from the 4th month of your claim. If you reported your health condition the same date you first applied then your waiting period will be Jan/Feb, Feb/March, March/April.. LCWRA starts from AP April 27th to May 26th and first payment will be 5th June. Before they pay you what they owe you they recalculate your past statements. This is so they can work out what you should have been paid and what you've already received. The difference between the 2 is what they owe you. your new statements will replace your old statements. Now your statements have been recalculated they now owe you the difference between what you were paid and what you've already received which is £354.28, which is the LCWRA element. You will receive a letter on your journal telling you how much the owe you and then it will be paid into your bank.1

It will be £354.28 if you received the LCWRA element in your July payment. If you didn't receive it in July payment then they will owe you 2 months LCWRA element which is £708.56.

Hi
Won't all the owed money be paid separately eg June and July
And normal uc payment just have the one payment of lcwra on top of normal payment ,?
Back pay is usually paid separately and in your account 3 to 5 working days after it is paid out0 -

Back pay is usually paid separately and in your account 3 to 5 working days after it is paid outYes money owed is always paid separately. When they recalculate the statements the LCWRA element is added onto each statement where the element should have been paid.In this case how much is owed will depend whether the LCWRA element was included for their July payment.0 -
Why would uc suddenly stop asking to keep your fit notes up to date and cancel work coach appointments while waiting for the outcome of a wca but no messages in journal0
