Good morning @ayan1987 and welcome to the online community
Can you help me understand what stage you are at in the PIP appeal process or am I correct in thinking that you are waiting for a date for your tribunal hearing ?
Have you received the DWP’s response to your appeal? You should have received this and the full appeal bundle of documents relating to your appeal. If you haven’t you need to ask the tribunal to require the DWP to send its response within 14 days. You can do this by contacting the tribunals service and asking that the Tribunal judge considers your request to make a direction that the DWP sends its response within this time period.
If the DWP has sent its response and you are waiting for a tribunal date there is often a long wait for a date depending on where you are in the country – sometimes 4 months and sometimes far more. In certain circumstances you can ask for your case to be expedited. You must show extremely strong grounds -for example, the significant detrimental affect that the delay is having on your mental health and that the delay it is causing you severe financial hardship, The date will be allocated at little notice and may not be at a venue particularly convenient to you. For this reason, many people who need to arrange support or transport or who are waiting for hospital appointments find that this is not an option for them.
Do take a moment to have a look around the forum anytime, and use the categories page to browse topics and you will see that there are many people in a similar position to you in having to cope with PIP delays.
