Hello everyone
I have just applied for PIP for the second time
First time was several months ago, and to be honest, it was a farce and I was not up to dealing with it
Recently, I somehow managed to pluck up enough courage to ring and ask for a MR
I was shocked when the young lady on the phone wanted to do it there and then, but, I asked if I could reapply as things had changed, said yes. So it was like a new claim and you can do it all online too and save your progress and start again another time
So, so far, they've been very helpful, although I still don't hold out much hope of being accepted after the first attempt
Anyway I find the whole PIP thing bizarre, on the one hand its not based on diagnosis and on the other they want to contact your drs. check your meds, check your health conditions etc. What's your thoughts ?

Constantly reapplying using the same evidence you previously used could see constant refusals. If the worst happens this time then i'd advise you to challenge that decision.Bananas said:

They very rarely contact anyone for any evidence. The onus is on you to prove you qualify, not their's.0 -
Thanks poppyI have reapplied this once because of changes, not using same evidence0

Welcome to the community @bananas
I'm sorry that you've had some trouble with claiming PIP. You're certainly not the only one to find the process confusing and bizarre at times!
Are you happy with the evidence you've provided this time around?0 -
Thanks Tori_ScopeI think I am a little happier this time yes, so far anyway0
