My wife suffers from anxiety and is being treated for that and blood pressure. The problem is that when she has anxiety it affects her blood pressure. I am wondering if she could claim for Pip as she has been signed off for a couple of months now.
She works as a carer and is 61, I watch her struggle with day to day things and I dont see her being fit enough to go back to work, can anybody help please.

I'm sorry to hear that your wife's had some problems with her anxiety and blood pressure. It's good to hear that she's undergoing treatment to help with her blood pressure. Is she receiving any support to help her manage her anxiety?
As for her eligibility for PIP, I'd encourage you both to take a look over the PIP descriptors (pipinfo.net), and see whether any apply to her.
To see what's meant by key terms like 'safely' and 'reliably' in this context, you can scroll down to 'additional information' on this Benefits and Work page.
Perhaps you could take a look at the descriptors, and let us know if there's anything either of you are unsure about?
Many people find it best to provide a few real world examples for each relevant descriptor when completing the form, if that helps you both to work out where she may be able to score points.
It's worth remembering that PIP isn't about someone's ability to work, it's about activities that come under the umbrellas of daily living and mobility.0
