There is no extra money payable for LCW.
If you disagree with the decision and think you should have been found to have LCWRA you can challenge the decision.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK. -
Hi and welcome to the community
I'm presuming you mean she was awarded lcwra as you mention she got 1 month back pay
There is a 3 full assessment period waiting time which isn't paid so the back pay could be correct
If you give us exact dates eg date reported health condition , date first fit note sent and dates of assessment periods we can work our for you if it is correct

OP, as janer says, any LCWRA payment is only payable for the fourth complete assessment period after the health condition is notified. If she reported the health condition part way through her January to February assessment period then the extra payment would only be payable from May to June.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Medical records weren't needed at that stage. If the health condition was reported on the same day she applied, was a fit note sent within 7 days of that? If it wasn't then there would be a delay in the wating period starting.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
Hi yes sick note was done before she got her first payment which was 13/01/22
-
I received the forms on 21/01/22 and sent medical evidence same day by email
-
They did inform me there was a back log due to covid
-
On that case the back pay is correct as the other months would have been the waiting assessment period eg Feb to March March to April , April to May
So may to June is first assessment period payment would be due -

If that was her first monthly payment then that's not when she started her claim. UC starts on the date you submit your claim and first payment is 1 month and 6 days later. This means that her UC must have started on 7th December. As you were late sending the fit note then this has affected when the LCWRA waiting period starts from.
