Hello, does anyone here have a bath lift that they use? What kind of bath do you use it with? My wife and I are trying to find what is best for us.

Hi si
Yes I use a bath lift just the one that sits in the bath and you transfer onto the seat and then press the control to lower you ip and down
I use mine in a regular shape bath I manage to get off the seat in water and turn myself round in bath so I can lay down fully.
I do this because my shower is over bath so for son to use shower bath chair is at other end against taps so won't recline all way
You probably won't have this issue .
Have also used it in corner bath but not ideal0 -
It depends what strength she has. The belt type are good because they just lie flat. The person can press a button to get themselves up to level with the bath edge, and if able to swivel, will then be able to shuffle, turn and be sitting on a sturdy padded box to dry and dress. Molly Bather was one such, designed by a man for his own wife then marketed. But for people who can't stay upright it has to be a chair, but then, the person isn't really taking a bath, so possibly might use a shower instead?0

We have a Mangar bath cushion which is great as it completely deflates so the person can be right in the water without having to completely fill the bath. it is also very easy to take in and out of the bath which is important in a family bath. However anyone using it must have good independent sitting balance as it offers no postural support and doesn't have a back as such.0

Hi @forgoodnesssake, we are going for one of the seat versions, the Bellavita, as we HOPE it will last us some considerable time. The cushion ones seem very unsteady and damn expensive.0
