Whiplash conpensation

I've just been advised after a video consultation no medical file reviewed, that I fall into the 3 to 6 month category which is £520 pounds - solicitor fees leaving me with a whopping £140.25 pence for injuries to neck and shoulders.
Is this the reform the government was after....
Strangely the young physio therapist who was treating my injuries made sure I didn't get 1 day past the 6th month mark for treatment, as to the 12 sessions suggested by the video consultation I had with the Dr.

Does £140 take home appear to be correct for injuries to neck and shoulders in my mind going beyond the 6 month recovery period suggested.

If that is right I hope you all stop bloody crashing into me now(it's not worth it 'manc slang' id rather just do without the aggravation of my degenerative joint disease. Certainly has surpassed the suggested.

My policy had an excess of £999 which I'm also getting but it appears they're using that as part of the %

    Hello @ITSALLLIES

    Unfortunately I don't think anyone has been able to answer your query because it's not within our remit. I would imagine the compensation amount takes into a lot of different things and as no two injuries would be the same, it would be very difficult to find a comparison.

    How is your recovery going?

    Compensation is designed to recoup losses and assist with any rehabilitation needed.

    I don't fully understand the new payable on injurys but I would never accept an offer without my medical evidence being looked at and without an independent medical report outlining injurys and timescale for recovery.

    I've had 3 whiplash payouts all before these new reforms and each claim paid me over £1000 in my bank the last one paid me over £3000 (2013) each time I was 3rd party as a passenger in a vehicle so no fault could have been mine, if you haven't agreed to accept tell your solicitor to do more for you to ensure you have not been left out of pocket your excess should have been other persons bill if they've been found at fault and good luck with your recovery @ITSALLLIES

    My mum was hit by a car a few years back, fractured all her ribs down one side, punctured her lung, fractured both collar bones and injured her ankle, it only by a miracle that she survived. Was in hospital for weeks, in absolute agony, then in a rehabilitation centre for a little longer. The driver was on his phone and the police didn’t investigate fully because only the ankle injury was apparent at the time, the Chief Constable apologised in writing months later.
    We’re just glad she’s still with us and celebrating her 90th tomorrow.
    I can’t remember how much compensation she got but it wasn’t much and the driver wasn’t prosecuted because it wasn’t investigated properly at the time.

    @Karen7788

    I'm glad your mum survived what must have been very traumatic for her and wish her a happy 90th birthday for tomorrow.
