When was your previous claim rejected? If it’s less than 13 months ago you can still request a Mandatory Reconsideration and then appeal if necessary. If your health is unchanged it makes more sense to challenge the previous decision rather than start again.

    Hi all,

I was wondering, how do you go about requesting a pip paper based assessment? Who do you need to contact?

I am jumping to gun abit here, I haven't been given an assessment date, but it's very likely I will in due course.  My first assessment was rejected, like others, I thought I was reading a report on someone else. From start to finished was blatantly lies, So now I am trying again.

I am registered with the Safeguarding team, who helped me with the application process. They've also confirmed that various departments within DWP and UC will be aware of the safeguarding alert. Will this make any difference  to how my application will be accessed.
I have provided evidence outlining my conditions and application form is very much how my conditions affect me on a day to day basis.

Also, another question, when the assessment takes place and the reports gets sent back to DWP, does the report go back to my caseworker or just a random one?
In regards to the decision maker, do they just get the assessment where a decision cannot be made?

I answered most of your question the other day on another thread here. https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/comment/597806#Comment_597806
Once the report is written it's returned to DWP and then it will be sent to a decision maker, along with all your other evidence and the form you filled in. They then look at everything before making a decision.

I don't know what you mean by this.
