Support Group is not about scoring points. You need to meet at least one of the descriptors the majority of the time. You can see them here https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/employment-and-support-allowance/esa-glossary/support-group-descriptors
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
Hi Poppy ..Thanks for the reply ..Great news I won my tribunal and have been placed into the support group ...My original claim for new style ESA was in May 2021 put into WRAG but was still off sick covered by sick notes ... then on MR put into LCW in Feb 2022 in this time ..I have not had any payments as my Pensions put me on the £78 income threshold ..Will the £40 a week extra payment I should receive be backdated to my original Claim or the MR decision ...Thank you for all the work you do for us out here ...Mark

Great news. The extra money is paid from the 14th week of your claim from when you orginally applied. For the first 13 weeks it is paid at the assessment rate of £77/week.
