PIP - Mobility questions

hi,

Im having a pip review at the moment.

My current/previous pip award was enhacned care and standard mobility.

Basically I have tourettes/functional tics (diagnosed with both at different times by different people) as well as delusional disorder, aspergers and adhd.

My question is on the mbility questions.

Basically I cannot go out by myself as my tics make it unsafe, if i offend someone if i tic somthing offensive, due to my autism i cannot explain and ive been threatened with violence in the past and very recently.

i cant follow a journey due to adhd as I struggle greatly with focus and often dont realise a place is familiar as i have a poor working memory due to adhd.

also i can have tic attacks that mean its not safe for me to go out alone as i drop to the floor and basically have something that looks like a seizure but definitely isnt, i have uncontrollable tics throughout my whole body.

also i can have drop tics where i drop to the floor, i get a premonitory urge sometimes but i cannot supress these.  so whilst techincally i can walk 200m+ the drop tics mean i can injure myself and it takes me a while to  walk normal distances.  these dont happen all the time but maybe every 50 m or so on bad days.

obviosuly i will explain all this but would it make it likely that i could get cant go to a familair place without soemone and what would i answer for the moving around part?

any help would be greatly apprecitaed.

thanks.

Activity 12 moving around. This activity considers a claimant’s physical ability to move around without severe discomfort, such as breathlessness, pain or fatigue. This includes the ability to stand and then move up to 20 metres, up to 50 metres, up to 200 metres and over 200 metres.
Based on the information you've given here, you wouldn't score any points for this activity.
May i ask which descriptor you scored points for in following and planning a journey with your current award?

Yes, that would be following and planning a journey but there are 2 descriptors that score 10 points.
D/ can't follow the route of a unfamilar journey without another person, assistant dog or orientation aid.
E/ can't undertake any journey because it would cause overwhelming psycological distress to the claimant.

If you are able to go out the majority of the days but need someone with you then you've likely scored points for descriptor D.
Descriptor F may apply if you can't follow the route of a familiar journey without another person, assistant dog or orientation aid.

Sorry didn’t realise two scored 10, last time I did it only one scored 10 I think but tbh I’m not too sure. It was the cannot undertake any journey.

and thanks for that link very helpful

Both descriptors have always scored 10. If you scored the points for descriptor E can't undertake any journey, how often are you able to go out? If the majority of the days you're unable to go out then 1E will still apply.

For the past 6 months my psychosis has gone (reason for the descriptior can’t go out) and it’s just my tics and autism and stuff that are the main issue hence the review.  I can go out whenever as long as someone is with me.  It’s like the psychosis has gone but has been replaced by even more tics, it’s toatally unmanageable now.  They used to be bad before but so much worse now,

Then you need to look at descriptor D unfamiliar journey or F which is familiar journey.
D/ can't follow the route of a unfamilar journey without another person, assistant dog or orientation aid.

Please note my comment here has been edited because I mistakenly put familiar instead of unfamiliar.
