Good afternoon @jaffacake welcome to our great group.
I'm not an expert on the claims system but i do know that my letter, from PIP did not arrive for quite a while, my money was in before i had the letter.0 -
It’s all really gone so fast I put my claim in July ,then received the message but nothing about my mobility, does that go separate0

Hi and welcome to the community
The automated message isn't very reliable so I have been led to believe
It is unusual but not unknown to be awarded without having an assessment and also to have been actioned so quickly
Mobility and daily living ars dealt with together they are not seperate claims
If you want to know for certain you will need to speak to someone on the helpline in person0 -
As janer1967 has said, the automated message isn’t reliable. £247.40 is the 4 weekly amount for standard daily living. The back payment won’t show so you’d have to speak to an advisor to see what you’ve been awarded if you can’t wait for the letter (RM are striking so it’ll be delayed).
Best bet is to call at 9 on the dot and you should be put through straightaway to an advisor to tell you. Do come back and let us know.0 -
DWP are also sending out text messages to those first time claims, if they are successfully awarded. I also agree with others, you shouldn't rely on the automated payment line. If you've successfully been awarded money owed comes first, with first 4 weekly payment 4 weeks later so payment on 23rd makes no sense because that's only 2 weeks from now.
