Hi, did anyone else on the Research Panel receive an email from someone called Amanda from a company called MTM/Face Facts Research claiming they are doing research on behalf of Scope with an online discussion on the 21st Sep? I've looked at the email and I'm not sure it's genuine. It didn't come from James@Scope or the Research Panel email address. I would suggest not opening it until it has been cleared by Scope as it asks about annual income. Plus you can't take part if you've taken part in more than 3 marketing research projects. As some of the work the Research Panel do could possibly count as market research, I doubt there are any panel members who could take part anyway.

Thanks for the tag @L_Volunteer
To be honest, I'm not sure @daz2. I'll get in touch with James to see whether he can share any insight on this.
It's good to be wary of these things, just in case, so I'd agree that it'd probably be best not to share any information before we've confirmed whether it's legitimate or not.
Thank you for flagging this up to us and everyone else @daz2!0 -
I feel like all the emails we get from the research panel come from James and anyone who works for scope only because I don’t remember seeing anything like that0

Hi @daz2 @pink_princess,
James kindly got back to me, and explained that it is genuine Scope have commissioned MTM, who in turn have commissioned Face Facts. This isn’t a Research Panel project because the primary focus is on supporters, rather than panellists.
I hope that helps! As I said before, it's always worth checking these things0
