Hi, just curious to know if any others on here have not received their ESA (Support Group) payment this morning (16/9) which is due today because of it being a Bank Holiday on Monday.
I will of course call them asap but what's worrying me is i can't see no reason why my payment would have been stopped for as far as i know i haven't been sanctioned or suspended for any reason certainly had no phone calls or letters from DWP.
Any info or advice much appreciated.
Thank you.

There are often glitches (probably more likely due to this sudden change of payment date). Just ring them and if there’s a problem they’ll make a manual payment.1

Hi mine hasnt went in either.gonna ring them and see whats happening.im hoping its because they had short notice of bank holiday1

Finally got through! (If i never hear that 'hold tune' again it will be 20 billion years too soon)
And yes it seems that the unexpected Bank Holiday has slowed down payments, i was told the payments will go through by the end of business hours today (fingers crossed)
And thankfully my claim is fine no problems, kinda get the feeling they are getting a lot of calls related to this today.0 -
Didn’t get mine either, was showing as a pending payment on my bank account yesterday and then disappeared!
thanks for the info I’ll get off hold now as was trying to call1 -
Payment turned up not too long after my last post, hope it's the same for everyone on here.

Sometimes a PIP award can suspend another benefit claim such as ESA and housing benefit. It doesn't mean there's anything wrong, it's just the computer will have picked up a change and would have just suspended it. Sometimes they will notice and make a manual payment but sometimes they don't.You will need to ring them again on Monday when they open.Which ESA are you claiming? Is it Income Related? If so do you live alone or with other adults? Does your PIP include the daily living part?If you answer yes to all of those and no one claims either carers allowance or carers element of Universal Credit for looking after you then you'll be entitled to the Severe disability Premium in with your ESA. You can ring them to claim this and ask to fill out the IS10 form over the phone. If you live with other adults, then they must also be claiming a qualifying disability benefit such as PIP daily living, DLA mid/high rate care or AA or be registered blind.0

There's no bank holiday on Monday. If it was then they wouldn't be open.
