PIP Adjournment Help

Hi all,

My wife has received a tribunal adjournment letter, warning her that her PIP award maybe at risk.

They state "inconsistencies" and are asking for her to appear for the next tribunal to give extra evidence (we opted for a paper tribunal) but this latest news has knocked her and me for six and the thought of her going through it all again isn't an option.

My desperate question is, can she withdraw her appeal at this stage of the process and how can we go about it? We cannot risk losing the existing PIP award after fighting for nearly two years to get it.

Much thanks for reading, any help and advice will be gratefully received

Paper based hearings have a very low success rate and only about 5-8% succeed. Before proceeding any further you really do need to get some expert advice if you're thinking of continuing. They don't usually warn you unless they are considering removing any points that may mean a lower award or even removing an award completely.
Your wife can cancel the appeal at anytime and her existing award will just continue as it has been.

Thanks Poppy for your response, apologies if this topic has been covered before on here but it's comforting to know that we can cancel the appeal if need be.
