I'm trying to see if I can get a pip award letter online as I'm buying a new vehicle in come of days and I've lost my letter that says I can have free vehicle tax

Unfortunately not. You need to phone PIP on 0800 121 4433 option 2 to bypass the cost of living message then option 6. You’ll hear your next payment and then be given the option to be put through to an advisor. Best time to call is bang on 9am and hopefully your letter will come quick too.

If you have Enhanced mobility PIP when you ring them you need to ask for the certificate of entitlement.

If you're his appointee yes. If not, then he will have to be with you when you phone to answer the security questions.
