Hi,
my partner hasn’t worked for years due to illnesses and having to look after the kids. I work and we are on universal credit.
my partner hasn’t worked for years due to illnesses and having to look after the kids. I work and we are on universal credit.
She recently did a work capability assessment and was told she has limited capability for work and work related activity.
so my question is will we receive more money if she hasn’t work for the past 5 years? I’ve been told the person as to have worked and have enough national insurance credits.

LCWRA is part of Universal Credit and has nothing to do with NI contributions. There's an extra £354.28/month included in your maximum UC entitlement paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition. When it's paid from exactly will depend on what date the health condition was reported/or a fit note sent and what date you usually receive your money each month.0

ESA is a different benefit. Without knowing the answers to these questions, it's not possible to tell you exactly when it's paid from exactly.poppy123456 said:When it's paid from exactly will depend on what date the health condition was reported/or a fit note sent and what date you usually receive your money each month.
Based on the limited information you gave it would be either June or July.0 -
Hello @hallac thanks for posting your query and welcome to the community, has poppy helped to reassure you about your partner's LCWRA payments?
Let us know if you have any further questions

Hi, we have been told about back pay and amount due but it doesn’t state when it will be paid. Do you know when they usually pay it into your bank? Thanks0

Once it's paid it takes 3-5 working days to go into your bank.
