I have a telephone assessment for LCWRA next week even though I didn't fill in a questionnaire

I can only guess that as the UC are aware that my savings will be spent within the next 8 weeks when we complete on a house move that they allowed this appointment to go ahead.
It much more likely, in my opinion, that UC have simply failed to recall the assessment.

As you don't have an active claim i'm not sure how you would know what the decision was. Unless they send you a letter.

    Good morning, advice please.
Does a private pension affect Carers Allowance? The pension is paid quarterly and is around £330.00 ( a quarter) paid work is approximately £400/ £500 a month

No it doesn't. Your partner mustn't earn more than £132/week after deductions. https://www.gov.uk/carers-allowance/eligibility

Just going back to the opening post. You said you were not paying NI. However, even though you were not paying anything, you would have got NI contributions credited if you were earning £120/week. If that applies and you have a complete NI record for 2019-20 and 2020-21 you could claim new style ESA which is not means tested and can be backdated by up to 3 months which could give you some benefit income for the period you were excluded from UC. You can check your NI record

My LCWRA was a week ago, as I don’t receive UC and have no journal, how long should I wait for a letter before chasing it up.

2-12 weeks for a decision but as i advised, i have no idea how they will let you know what the decision is. What should have happened when your UC ended was the work capability assessment should have been cancelled.

We are due to move house in the next 6 weeks, we will then be left with £5000 in savings, I will then start a UC claim, it’s all so muddled as it appears that a claim for LCWRA can only be claimed if you are on UC.. If it was their mistake to do a telephone assessment too early, then maybe I’ll have to do it all again.
